A note on these recipes:
I am not a chef, or even a very good cook--but I do like to eat, and I'm pretty darn creative. They are messy, and disorganized.
Make them yours. Experiment. Play with ingredients. Discover.
I use a lot of local, in-season ingredients, and I also make my own sauces, jams, and alcohols. What can you make with what you've got? What can you experiment and enjoy?
The point of these recipes is to have fun. Try something new. If you can't go out to a nice restaurant, pretend they have come to you.
